Another fantastic weekend of Rugby was seen at Kendal Rugby Club last weekend.
The sun was shining as over 200 boys and girls age 6 to 12 enjoyed a mornings rugby against The Vale of Lune from Lancaster and the under 13 boys development team had a fixture against a visiting team from Southport.
With over 10 pitches being played on, Kendal had some fantastic games against the Vale with mixed results but improvements all around from both sides and lots of smiles to be seen, especially when games ended in rolling around in the mud!
The U13 Development game saw boys developing their skills and again improving as the match went on. Some of these boys are new to Rugby this year and are enjoying the new challenges of the game as well as making friends for life.
Well done to all who played on Sunday. Winter training now moves to Dallam school on a Sunday morning but back to the rugby club for matches until February.
