Blackpool started slowly in this North Lancashire Division 2 fixture and were behind in the first minute - but that was as good as it got for their visitors.
The locals took the game by the scruff of the neck and hit back with a try by second row Tom Cockcroft in the sixth minute, quickly followed by the first of two for prop Dave Graham.
Winger Richard Jackson was in on the act next when he went across the try line, and by half time the score was 24-3 as Cockcroft touched down and Smith converted.
The first of the remaining tries was scored by Graham, with stand off Smith scoring his second to take the score to an unassailable 39 – 17.
