COACH Jon Nicholson says Kendal RUFC have a winning mentality ahead of Saturday's National League 2 North match at Harrogate following their 23-14 victory at Bradford and Bingley.
Kendla will be looking for their third win in a row at Claro Road since ocming back after a lengthy spell sequence of postponements. Nicholson said: "Bradford had bolstered their squad with a few recent signings before the transfer deadline and in a game they were intent on winning put up a serious fight.
"We were not at our best but we played a smart teritorial game in the first half, scored two excellent tries at vital stages of the game and, apart from one major defensive eror defended extremely well.
"As far as we are concerned league victories are good results and away wins better.
"Harrogate is obviously a sterner challenge and they have no obvious weakness but we are not going there just to take part we are going to there to win."
