KENDAL has been chosen to host a stage finish in the 2007 Tour of Britain Cycle Race.
The finish will take place on Torchlight Procession day on Friday, September 14, and is sure to increase the big crowds already expected in the town.
The race organisers have set up an exciting finish with a sharp hill finish on Beast Banks in the town.
