Opening of the A590 Bypass

3.10pm Tuesday 8th April 2008

Crowds gathered to watch Highways chiefs opening the long-awaited A590 High and Low Newton bypass today, which will divert traffic away from two fed-up communities which have been campaigning for nearly 30 years.
