Dr. GEOFFREY THOMPSON OBE, O.StJ, DL of Arnside passed away on 5th January, aged 91 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Irene after 68 years of glorious marriage, his sons John and Peter, his grandsons Alexander, Samuel and James and his great grandchildren. A funeral service and Christian burial will take place at St. Michael and All Angels Church, Beetham on Saturday 20th January at 11 a.m. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Beetham Church c/o Fishwicks Funeral Service, Beetham Hall, Beetham, LA7 7BQ.
