ALKER Elizabeth Shirley Died peacefully at Kendal Care Home on Thursday 23rd May 2019 aged 87 years. Loving sister of David and Janet, sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral Service at Kendal Parish Church on Monday 10th June 2019 at 2.15pm followed by cremation at Beetham Hall. All enquiries to Co op funeralcare, Kendal telephone 01539 739099.

Farewell dear Shirley, you were an inspiring individual, whom I first met as a Brownie, and later got to know in adulthood when I enjoyed our common interest in special needs education. Dear friend of Jane Mason and my Auntie, IGS Guider Doris Mitchell.
