BATES Betty (nee Palfreyman) On 1st August, peacefully at the R.L.I. Betty aged 89 years of Kendal, formerly of Ambleside. Loving wife to the late Des Bates, mother to Richard and Susan, mother-in-law to Martin and Sharon, proud grandmother and great gran. Funeral service will take place at St. Mary's Church, Ambleside on Tuesday 20th August at 2.30pm. Family flowers only.
