LOWIS Donald John Of Windermere, died peacefully at home on Sunday 28th September, aged 84 years, surrounded by family in a house full of love. Much loved husband to Margaret, devoted dad to Joy, Sean and Sarah, ever loving grandad, great-grandad and great-great-grandad. Well known and trusted member of the local community, former member of Windermere Town Band, Ice Cream Man, Painter and Decorator, Bar Manager, amateur artist, St John's Ambulance Man, prize winning fuchsia grower and a dab-hand at word puzzles. Funeral to be held at Beetham Hall Crematorium on Thursday 10th October, at 2:00pm, followed by Tea at Lamplighter Dining Room in Windermere, all welcome.
