NORTH Mary 2nd March 2020 aged 99, peacefully at a nursing home in Morecambe. A resident of Sedgwick, then Kendal, since 1971. Former teacher at Selside School and founder member of South Lakes U3A. Wife of the late Ronald North and mother of Geoffrey. Much loved by all who knew her. Donations if desired to RSPB.

Mary was a lovely kind and resilient lady. A very good friend and neighbour.she will be missed very much by all who knew her.
