JACKSON Frederick George Father Freddie has he was affectionately known passed away peacefully on the 17th July at the Kensington Care Home, London where he had been residing for a short time, aged 76. His Funeral Mass took place on the 28th July at Our Lady of Victories Church, Kensington where Freddie had enjoyed a wonderfully fulfilling last 20 years as assistant Priest, he also helped with services at Holy Trinity and St Georges Catholic Church, Kendal on visits here. He will be greatly missed by brother Peter, sister-in-law Joan and their children Joanne, Andrew and Gemma and their families and all those that knew him. It is hoped to have a celebration of his life at a later date when restrictions allow. As Fred would say at funerals he conducted - When the time comes, Jesus takes us by the hand and leads us into the presence of the Father, along the way we will pass many familiar faces who are waiting to welcome us home.
