BATEMAN Edna (nee Pickthall) It is with great sadness that we announce that Edna passed away on Wednesday, 23rd September, aged 92, at R.L.I. following a stroke. Dear wife of the late Edwin, formerly of High Underbrow, Burneside, loving mother of John and Linda, mother-in-law of Margaret and Roger, nan to Susan, Oliver, Julie, Martin, Julie and Nicola, grandma to Ethan and Adam and nan to Emma, Abigail and Johnathan. A friend and 'Nan' to many. Due to Covid restrictions, a private family funeral will be held at Beetham Hall Crematorium on Friday 9th October at 2 p.m. The cortege will leave Holme Houses, Burneside at 1.30 p.m. and travel via Hollins Lane if you wish to show your respects.
