HOGGARTH David, Dave of Blandses Farm Millthrop, passed away peacefully at RLI on 9th January 2021, aged 74 years. Loving husband of Ann, beloved father and father-in-law to Stephen, Paul and Sarah and proud grandfather of Fiona and Laura. A burial and graveside service will take at Blandses Farm on Saturday 23rd January at 1.00pm. Those wishing to pay their respects are asked to do so by standing along the route of Dave's final journey. The hearse will leave Blandses farm at 12.45pm, turning into Millthrop, travelling through the village onto Dent Road. We will then take the sharp right turn to Sedbergh turning left onto Busk Lane then right onto Station Road, pausing at the Old Auction Mart and Medical Centre. Straight along Main Street and down Long Lane turning right onto Garsdale Road then again turning right onto the back roads towards Millthrop and arriving back at Blandses Farm at 12.57pm. People are also invited to socially distance in the field close to where Dave will be laid to rest. Directions will be clearly indicated on the day.
