Raymond GILLARD

GILLARD Raymond Ray passed away peacefully at home on 4th April 2021, surrounded by his loving family. A much-loved husband of Bev and the late Brenda. A wonderful dad to John and Paul. A dear father-in-law, brother, son and a devoted grandad. Ray was a friend to many. He was kind and generous with a gentle sense of humour. He was a true gent and will be greatly missed. A private funeral will take place on the 23rd April at St John's Church, Levens. Donations if desired for Macmillan Cancer Support & St John's Church via Fishwicks Funeral Service website (fishwicksltd.co.uk).

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Ray's passing. We were street playmates, and in the same class at school from 5 to 16, then often in the same pub. A kind, gentle man indeed. Though I'd not seen him for many years I'll miss him. My sincere and heartfelt condolences to Bev, John, Paul and families.
