LAWRENCE Gillian Amsler (née Rushton) Died peacefully aged 87 at home on 20th April 2021. Beloved wife of Stephen, mother of Martin and Peter, and grandmother to David, Jeremy, Stan and Nona. Trained originally as a microbiologist, she was better known as a cellist, double-bass player, teacher, and keen gardener. Many thanks to all on Ward 20 at Lancaster Infirmary for their help over this difficult time. A gentle soul, she will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A private funeral will take place on 13th May at Beetham Hall Crematorium.
