FREEMAN Gertrude Mary Mary Freeman (née Blakey) of Natland passed away peacefully on 29th May at Summerhill Care Home, Kendal, age 99. Beloved wife of the late Tom, loving mother of Margaret (Shore), mother-in-law of Don, proud gran of Jamie and Emma and great-granny of Luca, Alexi, Ellie and Odysseas. Private cremation at Beetham Hall on Monday 7th June followed, at a later date, by a memorial service and interment at St Mary's Church, Hemingbrough, North Yorkshire. Grateful thanks to the Summerhill staff for all their support and kindness over the last 5 years.
