What an amazing and inspirational lady you were. Always there for your students, I had the privilege of you being the headteacher when I attended QKS and will always remember you very fondly.

I am shocked to read of Madelines death and send my heartfelt condolences to Gary and the family. I have the warmest memories of Madeleine as a colleague and my headmistress for many years. I was heartened the first time I entered her office and there was a large collie dog lying under her desk. I found that in dealings with me personally she was always considerate and fair. She led a full and useful life and adored her family. A sad day but happy memories.
