PICKLES Suddenly but peacefully at Eden Valley Hospice, on Monday 26th July, Frances (Ruth) of Armathwaite. Much loved sister of Andrew Pickles and nieces Saskia and Katrien in Australia. Aged 71 Years. Well known private and school music teacher in West Cumbria, cellist, friend and music arranger for Carlisle Orchestras. Funeral service at Carlisle Crematorium on Friday 20th August at 11am. Family flowers only, but donations in memory of Ruth may be made to Eden Valley Hospice (Any cheques payable to the charity) and can be left at the service or sent c/o Walkers Funeral Directors, Tynefield House, Penrith, CA11 8HY.
