BARBER Mike "The Midnight Butcher" of Grange-over-Sands, passed away peacefully at St Mary's Hospice with his family by his side on 1st October 2021 aged 69 years. Beloved husband of Jill, much loved dad of David and Stewart and father-in-law to Mataya, a loving brother to Sue and friend to many. Funeral service will take place at St Paul's Church, Grange on Friday 15th October at 11am followed by private family committal service at Beetham Hall Crematorium. Family flowers only please. So very sorry to hear the news. Mike was a one off— always busy. Didn’t matter what time I went home from work Mike was always still there!! Friends for 64 years since primary school and our dads long before that. So sad he didn’t get more retirement in the ‘new’ house with Jill. God bless.
