AUTHORITY PUBLIC PATH NOTICE PART OF BRIDLEWAY 566030 AT PARK PLANTATION, GRIZEDALE FOREST, SATTERTHWAITE PARISH TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2020 NOTICE IS GIVEN that under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Lake District National Park Authority intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make an order. The effect of the order will be to prohibit public traffic for all purposes from proceeding over part of Bridleway 566030 at Park Plantation, Grizedale Forest Satterthwaite, from SD 3262 9528 to SD 3306 9435 due to tree felling and extraction due to Phytophthora ramorum infection.
The notice and plan showing the route concerned may be inspected during normal office or opening hours at the National Park Authority Offices, Murley Moss, Oxenholme Road, Kendal, LA9 7RL; at South Lakeland District Council, South Lakeland House, Lowther Street, Kendal, LA9 4DQ; and at Ambleside Tourist Information Centre, Central Buildings, Market Cross, Ambleside, Cumbria, LA22 9BS; and is also available online at
visiting/thingstodo/row updates/rowdosures The order will take effect on 24 January 2020 and will continue in force for six months, but it is expected that the works will be completed by 31 March 2020. When works are taking place, signs will be erected showing the closed path and the alternative route.
