CREATION OF PUBLIC BRIDLEWAYS AND ASSOCIATED EXTINGUISHMENT OF REDUNDANT SECTIONS OF FOOTPATHS
HAWKSHEADTOWRAY We have entered into agreements with the landowners to create missing sections of a through bridleway from Black Beck, Hawshead to Wray via Scar House Lane, Loanthwaite, Blelham Tam and Spicka Lane - which are now in force. We have made an associated extinguishment order (dated 13 April 2021) fbrfbur short sections of footpaths now made redundant and bypassed by the new bridleway at Black Beck (SD 3533 9839 to SD 3544 9854), Loanthwaite (SD 3548 9913 to SD 3554 9928), Birkwray(5D 3551 9966 to SD 3560 9966) and Blelham Tam (NY 3625 0023 to NY 3617 0038) totalling about 600 metres - all of which have been bypassed by the equivalent length of bridleway alongside but on a better route. A copy of the extinguishment order and plan may be seen during office hours at South Lakeland District Council, South Lakeland House, Lowther Street, Kendal, LA9 4DQ.at Hawkshead Tourist Information Centre, Main Street, Hawkshead, LA22 ONS, and at the Lake District National Park Authority, Muriey Moss, Oxenholme Road, Kendal, LAS 7RL. Any representations about, or objections to, the extinguishment order should be sent in writing to the Head of Park Management at the above (LDNPA) address; to arrive no later than 12 May 2021. The creations have been finalised and are in force.
