AUTHORITY PUBLIC PATH NOTICE PARTS OF FOOTPATHS 408037 &4O8087, ALONGSIDE THE BECK AT STANLEY GHYLL, ESKDALE PARISH TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
TRAFFIC ORDER 2021 NOTICE IS GIVEN that under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Lake District National Park Authority has made an order dated 12 October 2021. The effect of the order is to prohibit public traffic for all purposes from proceeding over parts of footpaths 408037, 408087 along the alongside the beck at Stanley Ghyll, Eskdale; namely 408037 between SO 1735 9959 & SD17419960, and 408087 between SD1743 9983 & SD 1741 9960, to enable vegetation clearance and rock stabilisation works. The notice and plan showing the route concerned may be inspected during normal office or opening hours at the National Park Authority Offices, Muriey Moss, Oxenholme Road, Kendal, LA9 7RL; at Copeland Borough Council, The Market Hall, Whitehaven, CA28 7JG; and at Holmrook Post Office, Tynedale Farm Services, Farm Shop, Holmrook, Egremont, CA19 1UH; and online at

rowclosures.
The order will take effect on 22 October 2021 and will continue in force for six months but it is hoped that the works will be completed by Christmas 2021. When works are taking place, signs will be erected showing the closed paths. If the works have not been completed it may be extended for a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State.
