AUTHORITY PUBLIC PATH NOTICE PART OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH 408037, STANLEY GHYLL LOWER FALLS, ESKDALE PARISH TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2021 NOTICE IS GIVEN that under Section 14(1) of the RoadTraffic Regulation Act 1984, the Secretary of State has extended the Order made by the Lake District National Park Authority has made an order dated 14 June 2021. The effect of the order is to prohibit all public traffic for all purposes from proceeding over that section of footpath 408037 to Stanley Ghyll Lower Falls, Eskdale Parish between the bridge at SD1742 9958 and the lower waterfalls at SD 1743 9953, because of danger to the public as the path has been damaged, made unstable, and not safe to use by recent rockfalls. The Order was made on 14 June 2021 and has been extended until 31 May 2022, or until we have installed a walkway, which we intend to do before the end of March 2022.
