DESCRIPTION Bleak House is a traditional stone built cottage which boasts an abundance of period features and charm. Enjoying good sized accommodation over three floors, this is a perfect main residence or second home. The property is approached via on road parking and pedestrian access leads to the front door.

The front door opens directly into the lounge, which is a fantastic sized reception room bathed in natural sunlight from dual aspect windows. Central to the room is a multi-fuel stove sat on a stone hearth with an exposed stone lintel above.

A small flight of stairs leads up to the dining room, which retains many exposed beams and lintels. The cosy reception space offers room for additional living as well as dining.

Located off the dining room is the kitchen, fitted with a range of storage units and two single work tops. Fitted within one worktop is a single drainer sink unit with mixer tap and a four ring electric hob with an electric oven/grill below. There is under-counter space for a fridge and plumbing for a washing machine. An external door opens onto the enclosed patio with space for a table, chairs and a shed. The adjoining outbuilding houses the LPG tanks.

Stairs from the lounge lead up to the first floor landing which provides access to two bedrooms and a shower room. The master bedroom is an excellent sized double, which extends the full width across the front of the property. The bedroom features original beams and double doors opening onto the landing.

The second bedroom is a further good sized double, which retains exposed timber beams and a window seat.

The shower room has been upgraded and comprises of a walk-in shower cubicle, a WC and a pedestal wash hand basin.

Stairs continue up to the loft room, which features a range of built-in wardrobes, exposed timber beams, trusses and lintels. This extra room could be used as an additional bedroom, office or even a playroom.
