WHALE Tail Cafe in Lancaster is hosting a new exhibition until September 30 of work by artist Beki Harrison.
Beki - who grew up in Kendal - is a member of South Lakes Art Collective and has exhibited as part of the collective at Kendal Museum and Barrow's Dock Museum. Beki says she has recently been diagnosed with ME/CFS and although it limits her in many ways, she continues to use art as a way of coping with her health and also to raise awareness of invisible illnesses and disabilities: "I plan to continue to use my journey with art to help myself and others to be confident in their abilities and to enjoy art as a way to enhance their wellbeing," says Beki.
