TIM Leeson is on the exhibition trail again with work that explores the habits and behaviours of people in a pub environment.
Tim's Pub Life runs from September 26 until November 21 (midday until midnight), at The Olde Shambles, on Lancaster's Slip Inn Lane, and the founding member of South Lakes Arts Collective said that he wanted to produce an exhibition which would look comfortable in the unique space. Tom explained that he had worked large scale in charcoal and pastel and stained the paper with tea bags and coffee prior to drawing: "I decided a good theme (for the exhibition) would be around work, industry and recreation.
"And I think my work gives people a real perspective to the drinking habits of some of the people I have met on my frequent travels to Lancaster. I guess the pieces are also reflective of my own preferences and nuances in public houses."
