TWO outstanding young performers will be at the illustrious keyboard of The Royalty cinema's Wurlitzer on Tuesday, November 19 (12.30pm), in a Young Organists Showcase. The Bowness concert stars two recipients of the American Theatre Organ Society's Young Theatre Organist of the Year Award: Millom's 20-year-old Declan Poole, who won the award in 2015; and Lewis Scott of Cottingham, East Yorkshire, aged 21, who landed the prize in 2016.
"We're delighted to be welcoming Declan and Lewis to play at the Royalty," said concert organiser for the cinema, Mark Latimer. "The Wurlitzer at the Royalty was the first theatre organ that Declan played and both he and Lewis have really made names for themselves on the UK theatre organ circuit. It should be a very memorable event."
