ELEPHANT Sessions transcend boundaries. Hailing from the highlands of Scotland, they exploded onto the indie folk scene to unparalleled effect with their All We Have Is Now album. Since, the band have appeared at some of the world’s most notable venues and festivals with audiences crowd surfing their way through the summer and marquee floors breaking under the weight of bouncing fans.
They were winners of the 2017 BBC Scots Trad Awards album of the year, the 2018 BBC Scots Trad live act of the year and finalists in last year's BBC Radio Two Folk Awards best band category. Next Thursday, December 12 (7.30pm), Euan Smillie (fiddle), Alasdair Taylor (mandolin), Mark Bruce (guitar), Seth Tinsley (bass, synth) and Greg Barry (drums, samples) bring their fabulous fusion of traditional folk, funk, rock and electronica, to the Old Laundry at Bowness.
