Going Bananas for Fairtrade
BOWNESS went bananas to raise awareness and share knowledge of why people should buy Fairtrade products.
It's not often that locals and visitors are approached by "talking bananas" but Fairtrade Fortnight brought out the sun and folks by the bay were warmly welcomed.
The two bananas were joined by members and supporters of Fairtrade to raise awareness of the aims of the organisation.
Children were enthusiastic to share their knowledge of how to support and buy Fairtrade products.
