ROB Brydon will rock up to Rhyl next year to prove once again their is seemingly no end to his incredible retinue.

Hot off a reprisal as the loveable Bryn in the upcoming Gavin and Stacey Christmas special, the Welsh comic, mimic and tv host will hit the road his eight-piece for a brand new musical show Rob Brydon - Songs and Stories.

The Rhyl Pavilion is one of 26 venues who will have the honour of welcoming the award-winning comedian for the debut of his first show displaying his 'song and dance man' credentials.

With songs from Sondheim to Rodgers and Hammerstein, from Paul Simon to Tom Waits and almost everything in between, audiences can expect a tour de force of Brydon's prowess laced with his usual warmth and humour, as well as some of his famed gallery of voices.

Brydon said: "It will take some people by surprise. There are so many media outlets nowadays that some people might only know me from Gavin and Stacey or Would I Lie To You? Those people often say to me, 'I didn't know you could sing', and yet I have sung a lot. I hope this show is a very pleasant surprise for audiences."

It might also come as a surprise to fans more familiar with winning turns in Marion and Geoff, The Big Fat Quiz Of The Year and The Trip with Steve Coogan that Brydon is a chart topper.

In 2009, alongside Ruth 'Nessa' Jones, Bee Gee Robin Gibb and Sir Tom Jones, Brydon reached number one in the UK charts with the a cover of Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers' Islands in The Stream, in aid of Comic Relief.

Currently on a sold-out tour with Lee Mack and David Mitchell, don't miss this chance to catch the insanely talented comic in Rhyl on Sunday, April 26 at 7.30pm.

Tickets are on sale now, priced at £39.50. To book, visit rhylpavilion.co.uk or call the box office
