A MASTERPIECE by one of the world’s most famous and revered painters takes centre stage at Abbot Hall Art Gallery in the next few weeks.
Claude Monet’s Haystacks: Snow Effect, goes on display at the Kendal gallery from Friday, January 12 until April 28 and joins the illustrious list of galleries in places such as Tokyo, Los Angeles, Chicago and Paris, which are showing 25 works by the French impressionist. Meanwhile, Lakeland Arts - which owns Abbot Hall - is putting the finishing touches to an exciting 2018 programme of exhibitions, displays and events. Alongside the Monet, the programme also features eminent artists such as Grayson Perry and Elisabeth Frink.
