FARFIELD Mill is hosting an exhibition of new work by one of the region's most talented artists, Hideyuki Sobue.
Sanpo runs in the Sedbergh arts, crafts and heritage centre's Dover Gallery until November 4. In the exhibition, Hideyuki explores the essence of his personal experience by assembling the fragment of images of which he was inspired.
The Japanese term sanpo means walk, stroll, ramble, and wander and Hideyuki's show consists of a new body of work alongside a few of his previous pieces appropriate to the theme.
Farfield is open 10.30am-5pm. Telephone 015396-21958.
