ONE of the region's most popular entertainers is putting on a special fundraiser at The Bryce, Burneside, on Saturday, November 24 (8pm).
Elaine Burke and friends stage a mixture some of her favourite comedy sketches, including some old classics such as Copper Clappers, Four Yorkshire men, Fattitude, and In The Box, and songs as Killing Me Softly, Mustang Sally, Your Song, Is This The Way to Amarillo and many more.
In aid of MNDA Research, Elaine says "It's a show we have put together for a cause very close to my heart. The cast includes some Comedy Showtime regulars plus a few familiar faces from our local amateur dramatic scene. I am very lucky to have some good talented friends who are willing to take part, which gives me a chance to do some classic sketches as well as the usual blend of music and comedy."
