NEW oil paintings by Linda Ryle are on show at Abbot Hall Art Gallery, Kendal.
The Cumbrian artist first made her name in the 1970s crafting leather belts for the shop Ace on Chelsea's Kings Road, whose clientele included Elton John, Lulu and Bianca Jagger.
The Cockermouth artist, who is married to painter Julian Cooper, began painting trees, rivers and becks in the late 1990s.
Her painting career was celebrated with a major retrospective, Time Regained, at Grasmere's Heaton Cooper Studio two years ago.
Linda's ten new oils painted on linen will be displayed at Abbot Hall's gallery shop until the end of January, and all are for sale.
