ORGAN recitals return to Kendal Parish Church this Friday (January 25) with highly rated musician Andy Plowman at the keyboard accompanied by well-known mezzo soprano, Wendy Sharrock, whose worked with Heritage Opera and Opera North in Leeds and now performs as a soloist.
The series of six Friday lunchtime performances continues on February 8 with another distinguished local musician, Adrian Self, composer and director of music at Cartmel Priory. Acclaimed harpsichord expert and former lecturer and university organist at Manchester, Ann Bond, gives the recital on February 22.
Ian Hare performs on March 8; Charles Edmondson, March 22 and Jonathan Bielby concludes the series on April 5.
Recitals run from 12.30pm-1.15pm.
