DAVID Penn at Artspace has cooked up a fresh challenge for his fellow artists, asking them to create new work with food central to the artistic mix. The results will be on show at The Factory on Aynam Road, Kendal, this May Bank Holiday weekend (May 24-27), from 11am-4pm. On the menu will be paintings by Tina Balmer and David Penn, prints by Robert Finch, Marion Kuit and Peter Temple, drawings created by Cherrie Trelogan and ceramics from the creative hands of Sally Toms, who was recently the first winner of BBC1 Home is Where the Art Is. The Artists and Food exhibition complements The Factory’s mini food fair and The Tap’s Beer Festival.
