Police car collides with ambulance attending sudden death in Kendal
A THREE vehicle shunt involving a police car and an ambulance took place on a busy Kendal road this morning.
Emergency services were responding to a sudden death of a man inside a house on Aynam Road when the crash happened.
The collision involved a Suzuki Splash which collided with a stationary and unattended police vehicle.
The impact caused the police vehicle to collide with a stationary ambulance vehicle.
Minor damage was reported on both emergency vehicles.
The driver of the Suzuki Swift has been taken to Royal Lancaster Infirmary. Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Police said there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
