LOCAL Buddhists attended a meeting in Kendal led by a monk from the Thai Forest tradition of Theravada Buddhism.
Luangpoh Sudhiro invites people to 'live in the Dhamma' - a way of life based on loving kindness, generosity and wisdom. The Thai Forest tradition is about living simply and mindfully.
The meeting at the Castle Street Centre was attended by members of Buddhist groups in Kendal, Keswick and Carlisle, as well as local Tibetan Buddhists.
