Firefighters called out to car and hay bales on fire on A590
FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a car fire that had spread to hay bales in an adjoining field on the A590 at Witherslack.
The car was well alight when crews arrived at 1.50pm today (Tuesday).
One hose reel was used to extinguish the fire, which damaged around 20 hay bales as well as the car.
