A COFFEE morning held at Kendal Town Hall by Mayor Chris Hogg has raised £500 to be shared between Kendal Buzz Club, his chosen charity, and the town's flood relief fund.

Music was provided by Kendal Concert Band and the Tokari School of Dancers entertained with two sessions of dance.

Stalls were held by Space 2 Create and local Guides and Brownies while the Leonard Cheshire Buzz Club had a lucky dip, treasure hunt and 'splat the rat' games for all ages.

The Kendal donor town promotion team were also there to promote the Mayor's organ donor campaign.

The Mayor's office said it would like to thank Morrisons supermarket in Kendal for providing all the mince pies for the coffee morning.
