POST-jazz supergroup Let Spin are playing at More Music’s Hothouse in Morecambe on Saturday.

Described by the Guardian as ‘an electrifying band whose grooves could wake the dead’, Let Spin brings together four top genre-crossing instrumentalists from around the UK - bassist Ruth Goller (Acoustic Ladyland), saxophonist Chris Williams (Led Bib), guitarist Moss Freed (Moss Project) and drummer Finlay Panter (Beats & Pieces Big Band).

Just two months after their first rehearsal and subsequent UK tour (supported by Jazz Services and Arts Council England), the band recorded their eponymous debut album, which led to them being described as ‘a significant new UK jazz force’ (John Fordham, The Guardian).

Follow-up 2015 album ‘Let Go’ has garnered much critical praise with an extended feature in Jazzwise and a surge in radio play.

With three extensive UK tours behind them, appearances at several major European jazz festivals and radio support from BBC Radio 3, Jazz FM and BBC Radio Scotland, they have shown themselves to be a raucous and refreshing live act.
