‘The Whimsical Adventures of a not so Supermum’ tells the story of Mrs Selby, a former pupil at Queen Katherine School, Kendal, and her two boys and their life in Nantwich, Cheshire, where she now lives. It also features some product reviews, competitions and commentary on parenting issues.

“I started writing my blog when my youngest son was only a couple of months old, I found it a great way to express my thoughts and feelings whilst adjusting to life as a mum of two boys whilst also reflecting on events that have happened in our lives," said Mrs Selby, who used to live on Larch Grove and Serpentine Road. "There’s been some incredible highs but also some lows, recording our adventures as a family has been my way of staying sane."

People can follow ‘The Whimsical Adventures of a not so Supermum’s’ blog at www.thewhimsicaladventuresofanotsosupermum.com and have until May 27 to vote for their favourite blogs in 14 categories at the Tots100 MAD Awards website [http://www.tots100.co.uk/awards].

The award winners will be revealed at a gala awards ceremony at the Royal Garden Hotel in London on September 16.
