The 2017 Wainwright Calendar
THE Wainwright Society's 2017 calendar is now on sale.
Each month features photographs of the Lake District taken by society members, together with line drawings and quotations from the works of Alfred Wainwright. For the past seven years, the calendar has sold out - raising thousands of pounds for the society's designated charities.
This year all profits will be donated to the Lake District Calvert Trust for the renovation of the Bowderstone Bothy, in the heart of Borrowdale.
The bothy enables all of the trust’s disabled visitors to have an overnight remote camping experience.
The calendar, which costs £10, can be purchased from www.wainwright.org.uk/calendar/index.html.
