A POWER cut left Beetham Parish Council in the dark.
Councillors held Monday evening's meeting in an unlit room, according to the minutes.
After a short delay to the 7pm start time, councillors decided to press on with parish business as long as possible by natural light and torchlight.
Councillors concentrated on "pressing agenda items" with some less important ones omitted.
