To mark the 200th anniversary of The Westmorland Gazette in 2018, we are publishing a photograph from our archives on our website every day this year.
Today's photograph shows Oxenholme Foxhounds in January 1946.
Originally we stated that the picture was taken at Leighton Hall. However, Gazette reader Paul Woodburn got in touch to say this was not the case. He wrote: "The photograph is actually taken at Beetham, from the road junction above the Wheatsheaf Hotel. Leighton Hall and surrounding buildings do not include these roof structures."
