Cumbria Police dealing with an incident involving a motorcycle on the A591, leading to the closure of Staveley bypass. 12/02/2018 PIC: JON GRANGER
A 59-YEAR-OLD man has been left in a critical condition following a crash on the A591 yesterday (February 12).
The incident, which involved a motorcycle, occurred at 2.45pm near to the Station Road junction at Staveley.
A man from the Moor Row area was taken to the Royal Preston Hospital with serious chest injuries. His condition is described as critical but stable.
Anyone who witnessed the collision should contact PC 1509 Ian Hansen on 101 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
