AN ADVENTURE course is being given a £250,000 upgrade and will be open in time for Easter.
Four years after its original launch, award-winning Windermere company Treetop Trek Ltd is investing in a complete rebuild and upgrade of its Treetop Nets adventure at Brockhole.
The all-new nets promise to be bigger and bouncier than ever and includes a new layout with a pioneering new three layer construction technique that makes the nets bouncier than ever before.
The attraction will be ready for action from March 30 and will launch with a Treetop version of the traditional Easter egg hunt.
Children aged three and above will receive an activity sheet guiding them through the course with a challenge to find a series of hidden eggs in the nets and trees.
The Treetop Nets reopening coincides with several improvements to Brockhole visitor centre, including a brand new adventure playground for all ages, updates to the on site café and additional car parking, making for a perfect family day out.
