A WOMAN walking at Ullswater was taken to hospital after hurting her ankle on Saturday (April 14).
She had been walking with friends on the lake shore path between Silver Point and Side Farm.
Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team were called to the scene by Cumbria Police at 1.35pm.

Team members splinted her ankle before placing her on a stretcher and lowering her down to the team Land Rover Ambulance.
She was driven to the team's rescue centre and then North West Ambulance Service took her to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle.
