WILL the council stop interfering in things they know nothing about?
The Royalty cinema at Bowness is a wonderful place to go on wet and windy days to entertain not only us residents, but our visitors and at very reasonable prices.
The posh Ambleside cinemas have their place, they are excellent, but the Royalty has its place in Bowness. Just leave it alone to pursue its present course of entertainment.
Also the council must realise that shop gazing is going out of fashion, but cinema going is on the increase.
We do not need any more shops. We must have places to go out of the rain - we have just had one of the longest winters in my memory. So leave it alone.
