HAVING recently visiting Grange-over- Sands and reading some recent articles about the former lido I thought it would be useful to mention the heated outdoor pool in Ingleton.
Having visited both pools a number of times in my younger days I have got to say it could be a massive boost for the local area to have the pool at Grange restored to its former glory, similar to what has happened at Ingleton.
A number of weeks ago I walked pass the the pool at Ingleton and it was very busy and looked in extremely good condition.
I suggest if Lottery money or similar could be obtained it could mean restoration could be achieved.
